1. Who we are

Parcel From India is a parcel forwarding service operating from 2-2-143/49, Venkateswara Enclave, Near Surya Nagar East Bus Stop, Macha Bollaram, Secunderabad, Telangana 500010, India. We can be reached at info@parcelfromindia.com.

This policy covers parcelfromindia.com and the service we provide through it.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to function:

• Identity and contact details. Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the delivery address in your country.
• Shipment information. What you have had delivered to your Indian address, what it is, its declared value, its weight and dimensions, and the photographs we take during inspection.
• Correspondence. The messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or through the form on this site, and our replies.
• Website usage. Standard analytics about how this site is used, such as pages visited and approximate location. This does not identify you by name.

We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. The site has no checkout and takes no payments.

3. Why we hold it

• To provide the service. We cannot match an inbound parcel to you, or ship it onward, without your name, reference and destination address.
• To meet legal obligations. Export documentation and customs declarations legally require accurate shipper and receiver details.
• To answer you. Correspondence is kept so that a later message about the same shipment makes sense.
• To improve the service. Aggregate website analytics tell us which pages are useful. This is not tied to your account with us.

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary, with:

• Carriers. DHL, UPS, FedEx and our logistics partners receive the receiver's name, address and contact number, and the shipment contents and value, because a parcel cannot be carried or cleared without them.
• Customs authorities. In India and in your destination country, as required by law.
• Service providers. Our website host and analytics provider, under their own terms.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

5. Photographs of your items

We photograph the contents of parcels during inspection. These images are held against your record so you can see what arrived and so that any later claim can be supported.

They are not published, not used for marketing and not shared with anyone other than a carrier or authority handling a claim or a customs query relating to that shipment. If you would like photographs of a past shipment deleted, ask us and we will, unless a claim is open.

6. How long we keep it

Shipment records and the associated documentation are kept for as long as required by Indian export and tax regulations, and for as long as a claim could reasonably arise. Correspondence is kept while you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Website analytics are retained in aggregate and are not linked to your identity.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete information we no longer need to keep.
• Stop sending you anything that is not about a live shipment.

Email info@parcelfromindia.com and we will respond. Some records we are legally required to retain for a fixed period, and where that applies we will tell you which and why rather than simply refusing.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies, for analytics and to remember basic preferences. It does not run advertising cookies and it does not track you across other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

9. International transfers

We are based in India and our customers are not. Providing the service necessarily involves transferring your details to your own country, and to carriers and customs authorities along the route. By using the service you accept that this transfer is required for a parcel to reach you.

10. Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we hold information about a child, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active customers directly.
